Switzerland Wedding Film (hereinafter "the Service Provider") provides wedding, elopement and proposal filmmaking and photography services as described in the accepted offer or booking confirmation. All details — including timeline, locations, duration and type of coverage — are governed by the offer agreed with the client.
Services are provided exclusively within Switzerland and selected international locations as agreed in writing. Any deviation from the agreed scope requires written confirmation from both parties.
Payment schedule:
Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, PayPal, credit card. Any bank, PayPal or credit card transaction fees are the responsibility of the client.
Late payments will result in a written reminder. The Service Provider reserves the right to suspend or withhold delivery of files until all outstanding balances are settled.
All files are delivered digitally via a private online gallery or file transfer link.
Delivery times may be extended during peak season (May–October). The client will be informed of any delays in advance.
All photographs and video content created by Switzerland Wedding Film remain the intellectual property of the Service Provider. Upon full payment, the client receives a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for private use, including printing, sharing with family and friends, and posting on personal social media accounts.
By accepting these Terms & Conditions, the client grants Switzerland Wedding Film permission to use selected photographs and short video excerpts for portfolio, website, social media, and press purposes.
If the client does not consent to publication, they must notify the Service Provider in writing (by email) before the wedding day. In such case, a surcharge of 10% of the total service fee applies to compensate for restricted usage rights.
Partial publication restrictions (e.g. no faces, venue-only shots) can be agreed in writing and may be subject to a 5% surcharge.
The CHF 500 deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to illness, change of plans, change of date, or acts of God.
If the client cancels the booking:
If the Service Provider must cancel due to serious illness, accident or other force majeure circumstances beyond their control, all payments received (excluding the deposit) will be refunded in full. Reasonable efforts will be made to find a suitable replacement filmmaker.
Date changes are subject to the Service Provider's availability and must be agreed in writing at least 60 days in advance.
Switzerland Wedding Film takes exceptional care with all captured material. In the unlikely event of complete technical failure, loss or unrecoverable damage to footage or photographs caused by equipment malfunction, liability is limited to a full refund of all payments made.
The Service Provider is not liable for:
Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform obligations under this agreement if such failure results from circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemic-related restrictions, acts of government authority, war, civil unrest or extreme weather events.
Note: pandemic-related travel restrictions are considered foreseeable and are the client's sole responsibility to assess and monitor at the time of booking and thereafter.
These Terms & Conditions, together with the accepted offer or booking confirmation, constitute the full and binding agreement between Switzerland Wedding Film and the client. Any amendments must be agreed in writing by both parties.
This agreement becomes legally binding upon receipt of the deposit payment and the client's acceptance of these Terms & Conditions via the online payment form.
Place of jurisdiction: Switzerland. Swiss law applies.
